Howard:
This is Brenda Oxenrider (from the Ohio College of Massotherapy, I took your leveI 3 course in April 2006). I am writing to you because I have a client that I have been working with for only 2 months he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease approximately 6 years ago, we have been able to make some great changes in him since he started treatment.
Unfortunately he is moving later this month to an area just north of Charlotte, North Carolina. I was wondering if you know of a practitioner of Myofascial Release in that area (or even near there). This client has overcome many obstacles by coming to see me for therapy, he has always relied on conventional medicine (he is now a retired physician) for his treatments.
Actually a physical therapist recommended he see a massage therapist who specializes in MFR. If there is anyone that you could recommend, we would both be forever grateful, this client loves the work and has seen and felt the results of such work, I would hate to see his symptoms reverse because he no longer can receive the treatments.
I also wanted to tell you of my other client that I have been working with now for almost 3 years he also has Parkinson's disease (diagnosed 3 years ago) He has really worked hard with his treatments, getting them at least 1X a week, and working with a strength trainer and conventional medicine.
He recently received wonderful news from his neurologist, she told him he was in remission from his disease, she told him to keep up with the good work and to continue with his therapies!! He is very very happy!
Thank you for the training that I received so that I can help these clients!!
Well I hope to hear from you soon,
Sincerely,
Brenda Oxenrider LMT
