Hey Howard,
I love this work. All of my clients I have used it on today have loved it and said it didn't hurt as badly as what I usually do.
My stroke patient usually would leave in pain and not feel the results until the following day, but today she said she felt better whne she left. I am quite confident, as I usually am, that this work will get her better faster.
I can't wait to take more classes, and I truly would love to at some point be a TA and get certified to teach this work.
Thanks again,
Randy Brown, N.C.M.T.
p.s. My wife loves the work as well, and she will be in your classes as well.
Hi Howard,
I just wanted to thank you and to let you know how incredibly satisfied I am with the Upper and Lower body Myofascial Release Massage techniques that I learned in your June, 2007, seminars.
I had the opportunity to employ quite a few of the techniques on my husband, as well as a few of my massage clients. Needless to say, the results were outstanding.
My husband suffered a stroke eight years ago. He is paralyzed on his right side with limited mobility. He is a real trooper/conqueror in that he hardly ever complains, and he functions as independently as possible in spite of the discomfort he endures as a result of his disability AND other illnesses. He is a diabetic, has high blood pressure and is contending with liver cancer. He is a victor, not a victim.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, and it was because of him that I pursued this area of limited medical practice. I wanted to help him to readjust to a "normal" life as much as I could. He suffers from neck, shoulder and hand pain in his upper body. He suffers from lower back, leg and feet pain in the lower body. In spite of additional previous physical therapy, the best thing that could have happened to him was Myofascial Release Massage.
As a result of the techniques I've used on him thus far — hand, forearm and arm release, neck, back and shoulder release, feet and leg release — just to name specifics, my husband says that he "feels years younger, and his feet feel like he's floating on air." My husband's ease of motion has also been increased immensely and he's tickled pink.
I plan to one day perfect and use all of the techniques so that I can help people feel better. Thanks to you I'll be able to. Words can never express the gratitude and appreciation that I feel in learning your special skills.
The seminars were not only informative, but they were "fun." You were thorough, clear and concise with each technique that you demonstrated. Every opportunity that I get, I will be referring my present and potential co-therapists to your seminars. They are really a boost to our careers.
Thank you very kindly from the bottom of my heart,
Stephanie A. Matlock, LMT
